today i learned what FOMO means... it's so applicable to our corner of rp. everyone jumping on the newest shiniest thing.

ngl i wonder if it explains why people won't end a line they're bored of too.

i thought it was because they don't want to be left without a line?

i mean when they haven't responded to anything in a while but they still say they want to keep it going.

it’s why gpsls with muse caps see a rush of holds and then barely any of them app/play
and so many muses join blind date events only to ditch when they see who they were matched with
and so many top levels on writing memes are made by muses who’d never bother to reply to anyone else first

too many muns go into something with this just in case mentality that something will sweep them off their feet

yeah, they never seem to get that all of those things are what you make them. if you don't put anything into it, why do you expect something amazing back?

tbh it’s probably not a good mindset to have but i assume if no one replies to my top level, that means no one wants to play with that face so it stops me from replying to someone else... but i replied to someone else anyway and they stopped replying to our thread but continued on with their other ones. it might seem stupid, but i was kind of discouraged 😅

that no one replying to their threads means no one wants to play with the face they offered so they don’t reply to anyone else? honestly i don’t think i did because most people received a reply or multiple replies to their top levels, and i was discouraged after one of my attempts of replying to someone else to try again. maybe it’s dumb to give up so soon, idk!

da but tbh the only reasons i didn't reply to some people i was interested in were because they had left their other threads hanging or they didn't tag out to other people

da the second part can be a little unfair, as they might be tagging out using other faces. but ia with the first, i don't bother if they look like they're being selective or already ditched someone.

fair enough! the first doesn’t apply to me because my top levels received no replies to be selective about or ditch, but i can definitely understand why people wouldn’t reply to someone in those cases.

yes, lol, and other things. in one case, it's the same faces as our psl, in the other cases, we're playing different faces but i got a hunch and found out i was right when we moved it off the meme. i guess we're magnetic? i adore my partners so i'm happy with it but i wonder if they also figured it out.
