out of curiosity, have you ever managed to get a line from the threads above? i tried multiple times but people always disappear in a day, at the very most two and i've never gone past discussing

It can be very hit or miss. But I've gotten lucky a few times with good lines, which is why I continue to try for it. It doesn't bother me if things don't work out immediately. That doesn't change my realistic optimism on finding something good.

+1 this is also my take on it. out of 10 or 15 tries, maybe 3 will last longer than a week and maybe 1 will stick around over a month, but that 1 is really good.

the vaguer the idea and the further removed from established muses a setup is the less i found it working out for me. i honestly had more luck with muse confessions threads. but that could just be my personal experience

nope, at most they get me one tag before bailing. currently my active lines are from txt memes and confession threads, but not to say those are a 100% success rate either. i feel like the difference is diving in ic vs getting bogged down by ooc discussion where they seemingly talk themselves out of being interested.

i've gotten two? most the others die off after a day or before we even get to actually play the muses against each other. :( what kind of line are you looking for?

op here, this is my experience as well, i never got to play the muses in the first place... i honestly replied to any kind of line request from supernatural au to slice of life au to nonau psl, but nothing actually worked out. so i'm up for anything really!

A few! But they usually only lasted around a month. Similarly I’ve had amazing luck with the confessions threads and even found some long term relationships there for my muses.

just look at how these threads rack up 50 to 100 comments, and yet half the ones who get replies never even respond with a contact.

and when you do leave a contact they don't even message you.
