Seriously stop trying to police how people communicate. If one method doesn't work just ask the anon for another method of contact like dreamwidth. Don't force them to lock or unlock, etc etc.

Stop trying to force me to use my personal phone number to verify a roleplaying twitter account. Google voice isn't an option for everyone and asking for a different contact always flops.

I never use numbers for my twitters. Ever. So there are ways around it by using emails
