how long do you spend researching a face before playing them?

(Anonymous) 2019-08-01 05:51 pm (UTC)(link)
it depends, some faces have way more information out there than others. i try to watch at least one full season of a recent show they've done (like a survival show or group only variety slash "reality"), read or watch interviews, and then check accounts from fan signs. if they've been around foryears i try to roughly timeline their past activities too if it's a nonau face

if i’m focused it’s a week before voicetests

depends on if i'm already a fan of them or not. if i am, then i just research details as i voice test. if not, then weeks probably just to see if i really want to commit.

I can’t pick faces to play unless I know about them and am interested in them. If I’m playing au/pb, then i don’t research them much. Only when I’m stuck on what to reply next, then I look them up for inspiration.

most ppl here just pick a face they think is hot, creepy when they're picking faces almost 10 years younger than them if not more and then play them however they want
