if you're in a community which are usually pb-based or au if you're lucky, i agree. psls are full of flakes there too, so it's hard to find anything if you're into non-au.

there are, or were some that were all k faces like apartment complexes etc filled with basically ocs. if you're into that, cool. if not, yeah, it's grim, and western muses in celeb comms post-bts will definitely be annoyed that you're even there. tumblr still has a lot to offer, a lot of muns who like to write stayed there.

the biggest turnoff for me with Tumblr is how posts happen. they get so gunked up and I can't separate what's going on

after using instant messengers and journals where everything is easy to follow, tumblr looks really messy and hard to track. the messaging there isn't great and there aren't many ways to keep things private.

maybe for regular posts but that's not how anyone rps on there? the last reply and your new one are the only content in each reblog, everything else gets deleted. xkit is a basic necessity on there for rp purposes.
