some accounts can opt into twitter's new desktop design, right under (below?) where you turn dark mode on/off. it's a bit ugly but you can at least bookmark tweets now without having to be mobile.

as someone who was forced to use the new desktop design, it's beyond a bit ugly, incredibly clunky, and all poorly designed for a website. bookmarking tweets isn't remotely worth it

saying it's going to kill the site is a bit extreme, but they've alienated desktop users with the redesign, which whether they want to believe or not, does kill a portion of the site's userbase
