that's my fear, that my s/o will find it weird or get upset about it. i can see why someone wouldn't think it's harmless fun.

and it's kind of embarrassing honestly. how would i explain i pretend to be a korean pop idol as a hobby to someone who doesn't even like kpop?

da but my non-fandom s/os have always been fine with it when i tell them it's like d&d etc, co-writing a story with a bunch of others. saying it's an acting exercise works too. it's creativity and most people understand that.
