i always assumed that the muses who got posted but didn’t want to be had the option to request their thread to be removed? so all the ones that stayed up were people who didn’t mind it, but maybe that’s not the case. i always posted positive confessions for my muses friends, it was a nice gesture to leave something unexpected but positive that might make muses feel appreciated.

piggybacking off the first reply, i think a lot of muses are too nervous or shy to post themselves, too, so having your friends unexpectedly say kind things can be a really nice boost!

because it comes off attention-seeking to admit you want to be on it. not that it is, but for muses that are self-conscious they probably don’t want to draw the attention to themselves.

it’s way better for a muse to be surprised with a nice comment than to have to ask for it. asking for it defeats the idea of it being a confession meme. it should be called a “say nice things about me” meme
