to clarify again i don't think op is at all unreasonable to be frustrated that a mun wasted their time, didn't have the courtesy to talk to them, then acted fresh about it. i don't feel superior for brushing these things off, it just happens to be my (and yours of course) style, so i was explaining why their partner might have been surprised or felt comfortable reacting poorly.
