they find us weird because we're pretending to be other real people doing real people stuff, which seems pointless/boring and like stalking/obsessive behavior to them. pretending to be imaginary characters and writing about impossible sex acts is entirely different. shrug. but that thread is the minority. hundreds of fandom players are in games doing adventure stuff and generic shipping.
