i gave it a go a couple years ago. it's a lot more writing intensive if you join a comm, if that's what you're looking for. if you play a stray muse on one of the memes the pace is more manageable, but they're even pickier about the faces they play with than muns here.

the amount and degree of mun drama is also ridiculous lol, but their threshold for bullshit is much higher so people don't get dragged for the same petty stuff that they do here

the mun drama isn't that bad if you look at the number of people in fandom rp vs the number of people who are usually bitched about on anoncomms. it's very easy to disappear into the crowd there and people are quick to call out grudges and rarely take anything other than major accusations (with proof provided) seriously.

i also wouldn't say players there are pickier than people here. a lot of people are cool with cross-canon. there will always be the complaint that people only want to rp with characters from their canon, but it's kind of in knowing what fandoms are the worst about it, like mcu.

I don't have the time to put anything together just this moment, but would anyone be interested in an superhero au psl/goal? I'm envisioning something more serious than sky high (lol) but not as extremely grim as umbrella academy.

I was also thinking it being focused around 2000 liners, being thrown into a romanticized and over glorified lifestyle of being a hero.
